I remember a few years ago when Arnold Schwarzenegger was running for governor, an issue of rape had come up with this man. Females from his past claimed that they had been inappropriately touched by him. My question is, did Arnold get any lawful action taken against him? Why or why not?

1. There was no criminal action because the statute of limitations expired and no civil action either for the same reason or because the female did not file a suit.
2. I believe it was only molestation charges and no charges were brought because the statute of limitation was long passed.

4. I never heard about anylawful action taken against him. And indeed, I don't know why not.
5. No. Because he did nothing unlawful. It's like pressing charges against Elvis for kissing some girl at a concert.

   why is it that these things are not brought to light until "person" is in a position of power?
   if it is a bad thing that happened, then why wait to go public?
   what do people think? whats the point after a extended amount of time?

8. I'm guessing he didn't… or he wouldn't be Governor… then again he is just the public face of the job.. I don't think he actually does anything.. my impression is that he is just a pretty faced puppet.
9. No, he didn't. And he wasn't accused of rape, I think just of fondling some women's breasts and making some inappropriate comments.

   I think the claims were probably bogus or over-stated. I remember there actually being several witnesses who said the "fondling" never occurred. That woman also said that Arnold took a picture of her breasts. The witness said she took the picture herself.

   He probably was guilty of making inappropriate comments. But then, who's not guilty of that?

    Guess he didn't spill anything on anyone's dress.
11. I've lived in California my whole life and never heard these accusations. But anyways, your opponents or people who don't like you will come up with anything to make you look bad. I bet if I lived in a bubble my whole life someone could find some controvertial thing and blow it EXTREMELY out of proportion.
