Girls does the fact that more 'feminine' looking girls/women are weightlifting/bodybuildin… make you want to?

I know that the stereotype people have of girls who participate in strength sports such as weightlifting or go into fitness/bodybuilding are girls who look quite manly and unfeminine but if a girl had muscles or weightlifted who looked like hmm, I don't know Christina Aguilera or Kelly Clarkson, would you be more inspired to try the aforementioned without thinking it is for those girls who are manly?

  1. Just a curious thought
  2. Girls who stay clean eventually look trim and fit. That's fine. But all those bodybuilders are roid freaks. It's completely obvious when a roid chick builds muscle.

That is beyond disgusting. Don't know who this woolchick is, but if she's weightlifting, she a roid using thug who looks nothing like a woman.

  3. By the way, this is Natalie Woolfolk

  4. I am a walker and a gardener and plan to remain that way. It works for me.
    Peace.
  5. Therefore ladies, would you ever be attracted to such sports knowing that they aren't always associated with women who look like that murderer from the film 'Monster'?
  6. I see no lack of femininity if a girl is strong physically. If they look like a female version of Arnie then that might be scary but if a girl still looks like a girl and enjoys her girl-related things, do you think this is okay?
  7. I also recently saw a weightlifter named Natalie Woolfolk, She is around 22 or 23 and she is as feminine looking as one of the girls from the show Laguna Beach.
  8. I think it's O.K. But I like looking trim and delicate.
  9. No way I like my soft curves. If I wanted to look like a man I'd have surgery or would have been born one.Xx
  10. I agree with the original poster, I would hate to see women afraid to build muscle or get stronger, for fear of losing their femininity. Women who build muscle aren't competing with men just against the boundaries of their own bodies. In addition, there is 'lean muscle', where there are no massive bumps or bulges but a more smooth, firm look.

With fitness classes and sports like kickboxing becoming more mainstream for the everyday gal, it does seem more women are moving into the area of looking athletic and fit, which doesn't mean you have to look like California Governor:)
