How many anti abortionists would make a deal lowering limit to say 18 weeks if…..

1. A new law was made that only someone who was a practicing gay or lesbian person, or a porn star could be pope.
2. All teenagers were reversibly sterilised till their 20s after uni and early career building/travelling etc.
3. Thus no unwanted teen pregnancies the bulk of abortion needs.

5. abortion limits should be stopped at at the most 8 weeks iam not one to jugde I had one at 7 weeks I was immature and only just 16 regret it now but after 8 weeks its just wrong, look up what baby looks like at 18 weeks
6. I don't think that right wing personal agenda is the reason for anti-abortionists to want to abolish abortions.
   I think the anti-abortionist feel that SOME women are taking advantage of this procedure. They are using this as "birth control" not the way it was intended.
   I would say more condoms everywhere (*and I really mean everywhere, free at gas stations, convenience stores, public libraries, post offices, etc) would lower the number of abortions each year.
   It's sickening to read about that 15 year old girl who is having her 4th abortion and oops, just last night she had unprotected sex… hmmm.. maybe the problem doesn't lie with the right wingers who want everyone to wait until marriage, would that be such a terrible thing anyway?

13. Actually, I think your question shows a lack of understanding of the issues at hand. Anti abortionists think they are upholding the commandment "though shalt not kill", however, many think it is ok to kill fully developed humans in order to uphold this ideal. Ironic isn't it? Anti abortionists believe in the concept of a soul, which is a religious concept. Institutionalised religion is always about power. It's never about anything else. Such institutions have only ever achieved suppression. Unwanted pregnancies happen because people are instinctively driven to procreate; no matter what their better judgment tells them. Women are lucky to have a choice, and where there is a possibility of choice, they should have the freedom to use it. I chose not to abort any of my pregnancies, however inconvenient, but I uphold a woman's right to choose for herself. '

    I just read that comment about using abortion as birth control. Its a really prejudices response. I faced the choice and I can tell you it was far easier to let my pregnancy go full term than to face an abortion. You the person who made this comment; who are you to judge? How do you know that it was such a light decision? How do you know that your judgement is even accurate. Its a furphy. I know mature women, nurses even, who have made mistakes and had abortions when they ,of all people, know the alternatives. This issue is simply not that easy. Birth control does not work properly in all situations even for the most well informed, so what chance does an under educated teen stand? Don't be so judgmental. You have no clues to make such a call. It's like saying "Oh I will just have my hand cut off to avoid getting it burned when I cook dinner". Not all people have the same fertility patterns. Not all people have the same level of knowledge. No one wants surgery when they can take a pill more easily. Such comments about using abortion as birth control are simply ignorant.

14. How about this…. People should take more responsibility for their actions and if they know they can't take care of their kids then they should not have unprotected sex..AT ANY AGE!!!!

    Maybe if people actually took more responsibility for their actions we wouldn't need people to be having abortions(and no I'm not talking about people who have been raped or have an incest child)
    I actually don't have as much objection for an early abortion as I do for this procedure that(thankfully) the supreme court just squashed where the baby is actually out of the body and moving when they just kill it. How can anyone whether they believe in god or not(I don't by the way) be okay with this procedure?

19. People should just use contraception in the first place. I am anti abortion, but I do believe that a woman should make her own choices. I would never judge someone for having an abortion but I could never do it myself. Simply because of how developed a foetus is at as little as 8 weeks.

20. Do you have any idea how developed unborn babies are at 18 weeks? Besides, I already told you- the majority of ppl getting abortions aren't teens. Now go do something productive.
