How many anti abortionists would make a deal lowering limit to say 18 weeks if…..

1. A new law was made that only someone who was a practicing gay or lesbian person, or a porn star could be pope.
2. All teenagers were reversibly sterilised till their 20s after uni and early career building/travelling etc.

   I think it appears the pontiff's sexuality is more impotrant to some Christians than the caring of a foetus

4. I am not making a deal unless it is with God! This deal sounds like making a deal with Satan!
   You don't compromise one sin for another to make other people's lives easier. How about you ask people lets make a deal on trying to eliminate all sins for the peace of this world?
5. The problem is not with the consequence, but rather the action. They don't care if people get pregnant or get STDs, they just don't want anyone having sex period.

   If they really cared about lowering unwanted pregnancies and STDs, they'd be all for a comprehensive sex education that involved teaching all methods of contraception and safe sex techniques. The fact that they refuse to do this, suggests to me that they only care about their religious agenda and the the actual people.

   What if teenagers don't want to be sterilised? Don't they have human rights?

   Why would someone want to be figurehead of a religion that condemned them?

I am a catholic but I gotta say that some people are just hypocritical,I totally agree with your way of thinking,people who take religion to far are giving the rest of us a bad name.to those going on about no abortions no sex before marriage no contraception,what would you do if your daughter ended up in one of these situations would you disown them? my grandad is one of the most religious men I no he wont even step foot in a registry office! but when I got pregnant at 17 not in marriage ended up a single parent he excepted my,isnt gods love suppose to be for all and unconditonal? (I got an ear bashing tho lol think that was more the grandad role than religion),how do you no all these without being in that sit,(by no means am I saying your views are rubbish just I dont not agree with them).xx
9. If reversible sterilisation wasn't too much of a hassle, I would certainly go for it but I do think that you can't force it on people.
   Also I don't think that you could make that law about the pope because that is discriminating against straight, bisexual and non-porn star people.
   And I think that abortion is a personal choice and the laws are fine as they stand on that.
