Fat loss and Bodybuilding-Need advice?

I am 6 ft tall, 27 years old male. I have been lean or skinny all my life, But since the last two ears I have gained weight drastically, mostly fat. I am 194 pounds, around 20 pounds too heavy. I always wanted to pack some good muscle but could not find the time, now I am really determined to do it, Do I first try to loose weight or start working my muscles right away and expect to loose fat in the process. I was told by someone that loosing abdominal fat ( I have a pot belly) is very difficult if I dont focus on loosing fat first tan building muscle. Loosing fat means calorie deficit and gaining muscle means calorie surplus, I am confussed, please help

  1. hmmmmmmm im pretty sure that for more muscles while dieting working out will still do the trick, but u will get less muscles. My advice: definetly focus on fat first with arobic exersize, and also work in some muscle workouts in ur exsercise routine, but not too much. This will increase muscular strength, while not giving you a lot more muscle u will definetly notice that they r MUCH firmer and have much more tone…
    also to optimize muscular building I think that protein is a key ingredient so u can work that in ur diet as well .
    Just remeber that
    fat=9 cals
    carbs=4 cals
    protien=4 cals as well
