Hip problem?

im pretty active 21 year old male who has done alot of sports like kickboxing skateboding bmx racing and used to run quite a bit latly my left hip joint has had pain its not a treeible pain just uncomfortable streching seems to help but only a minor amout it comes and goes any suggestions on traetment or the possible problem I also am traing in bodybuilding and it recently strted alittle in my other side

  2. Buddy, kickboxing can do that! Try "Myofascial Self Release"
    It is using a roller or ball to help break up muscle adhesions. The hip flexsors might be in total inbalance and pulling every which way but loose, and pulling the head of the femur into the acetabullem…forcing a compression of the hip joint. TAKE CARE OF IT NOW! See a doctor and get a pro opinion…you don't want to be having hip replacement in your 30's or 40's..
    I had a pin in my hip when I was 12 yo..so I know from hip probs. The roller really helped me…The rollers are cheap and if you get one through Performbetter.com, they'll send you a sheet on how to use it…it's a slow process but it works.

Hip problem?

  1. it feels like its jammed or somthing
  2. nick you most likely over did a muscle or a ligament. for starters, if there is no other medical problems known, you can take ibuprofen 200 mg pills (available over the counter) about three of those at a time every 6-8 hours as needed. be careful not to take those on an empty stomach, always take them with food or a snack. Do not take things like aspirin, naproxen etc with it. You can take tylenol/panadol.acetamenophin. Safe practice is to consult the pharmacist for any new medicine and let them know what else you are taking.

    I would strongly suggest to see a physician if symptoms were to persist or worsen or if any new symptoms develope, good luck
