How can I get physically built without using workout equipment?
I am a male student looking to build some physical definition. My budget is minimal to none, and I am aware that it takes roughly 2 months to get some results. I am not looking to have a bodybuilders' body, or a wrestlers' for that matter, I am just looking to change my nothing into something. I am currently 5'7"ish and 170 pounds. Seeing as I am a student, my grades obviously come first, and with a job at hand, I cannot simply burn off hours at the gym, as there is too much other stuff to do. Does anyone have a workout plan that doesn't involve spending money or going to the gym, or using household items (inverted/inclined situps and pushups which I am currently doing)?
- Just wanted to add that my metabolism is very good to me - I'm 18, and I have been stuck on 170 pounds (not belly fat, mostly thigh as I play baseball, hockey, and basketball) for about a year now. I can never really seem to gain or lose a pound, so if that helps, a realistic answer would be much appreciated.
- You can do pushups
- this might sound sick dude, but crack a few eggs (start with three first) raw eggs, then remove the yolk, with a spoon.. and yup drink it up 45 mins before u workout? do 4 sets of 8 repetion, workouts(etc.push up,crunches, lift weights, etc.)
about the weights when you lift them up do it quickly but excercise it slowly, like when you are bringing it down, that stretches the muscles to it's most effecient. do it three times a week for 2 or 3 months. n all the chicks wud be comin afta ya! - Jump rope
- go to a second-hand sporting good store and buy yourself some dumbbells..not fixed weights, but bars and free weights you can add and remove. It should not cost you too much. Do a search online for dumbbell exercises. That should give you a good start and a cheap price and you can do it all from your home.
- I'll tell you that I knew a guy who worked in construction for a summer when he was a student and that did a lot for his upper body while he got paid.
I will also say that Yoga is surprisingly good for strengthening - particularly hand stands. What is so surprising is how quickly you can see definition. I did a squatting exercise I read in a yoga book for like 1-2 weeks whenever I thought about it and I got cuts in my thighs that fast (and never had to do them again in the 10 years since). Yoga Journal is a great resource - they have a Pose Finder that allows you to target specific muscle groups or body systems. Here's a link: http://www.yogajournal.com
I knew another man who did handstand push ups for arm and shoulder definition - but you gotta start really slowly with them - 1 or 2 at a time to start and you will feel it.
Peace!
- go to website called herbalife. they sell a thing called bulk and muscle formula protein drink mix. my hubby takes it and he really like the reuslt from it. You will also have a mentor that will help you reach your goal on geting you the body you want.
