I get dizzy after exercise this started after I had a major panic attack a year ago.?

I get dizzy after exercise this started after I had a major panic attack a year ago. About a year ago I had my first panic attack. Iam a 20 year old male 5'10 medium build runners body. Anywho I used to be able to run for a couple miles no problem but after I started getting anxiety attacks I became tired alot. Even stairs can be an issue. Everytime I start jumping around I feel dizzy and a "choking" sensation. is it that Iam scared or something else.

  1. What tends to happen is excersize can sometimes mimick the effects of anxiety (shortness of breath, light headed). I get real light headed after doing squats and I suffer from anxiety attacks as well. Sometimes when doing them my mind will start to get the best of me and I will create anxiety on top of the already present symptom.
  2. An anti-anxiety medicine could help if it is anxiety, but first I would try lots and lots of water. I used to get dizzy every time I stood up, especially after excercising. It turned out to be lack of nutrition and dehydration. More water and more healthy foods took care of it.
  3. probably. this might help you with your panic attack.

    1. relax your shoulders and become consious of any tensions that you might be feeling in your muscles.
    2. tense and relax all large muscle groups with gentle reassurance. tighten your left leg with a deep breath in by holding it then releasing the leg muscle and breath. move onto the other leg. then, move onto the body, 1 muscle at a time.
    3. slow down your breathing by breathing though pursed lips like blowing out a candle. place your hands on your stomach to feel the rapidity of your breathing.
    4. tell yourself or someone that you might be doing this technique that you are not "going crazy." if you're concerned about not being able to breathe, remember that if you are able to talk then you are able to breath.
