I'm having a hard time finding nice jeans!?
I'm a male, and I'm into bodybuilding. So my frame is a little different from the skinny leg kids you see walking around.
- I've tried on so many jeans and none of them look right!
- Either my thighs are too big, it makes my butt look saggy, or my calves are too big, or something isn't in proportion. It doesn't help that my desired waist and inseam is 32/30-30/29
- if your really into fashion like myself, and if youve got some money to spend, DEFINETLY go for SEVEN JEANS FOR ALL MANKIND or ROCK AND REPUBLIC jeans. They are alittle pricey but I know for a fact you'll be satisfied. you can order them offline or try going to some upscale boutiques.
Good luck! hope u find what your looking for!
- I've pretty much been wearing khakis for awhile now but I want to sort of diversify.
- Have you tried going to Levis? They measure your body and make a custom pair of jeans for you. They're affordable and you'll get the jeans in about a week.
- Do you know how I could cure this? What's a desirable look for jeans? Post pictures if you can.
- If that's not enough, the colors don't seem to do well to match my head. My hair and eyes are dark brown, and when I wear darker jeans which are pretty much in right now, they look even darker.
- Well, to try and help you out: I worked at Banana Republic in the mens' department and helped quite a few guys somewhat similar to you find a good pair of jeans. I don't think I ever helped a bodybuilder per se, but I did help many muscular athletic guys who also worried about jeans being too tight in the thigh, etc. Banana will definitely have your correct waist size and inseam, if not in-store, then online.
Since I can't help you in person, I'll just make some general recommendations. You probably want to go with Boot-cut fit because that's what's in, and it should accommodate your large calves. Hopefully those won't be a problem for your thighs, as long as they are not ridiculously large. Banana also has Relaxed and Utility fit, which may have a bit more room in the thighs, but I would wonder if you might have the saggy butt problem with those.
If you still want to wear dark jeans, Banana does have a great color of dark jean—it's dark but has kind of a sheen to it, so it's still dark but should not overpower your dark eyes/hair.
Sorry to sound like a salesperson! but I'm just talking from experience. Hopefully this helps you out!
