2. they shouldn't be compared this way:

   * tigers are much bigger animals

   * they live in different environment, e.g. climate, food supply, etc.

3. Siberian Tigers are a powerfully builted cat in the world, so anything other than a tiger would less powerfully built.

5. It's all a matter of perception. Everything about the lion is mean to advertise size and strength. He has a shorter coat since he lives in a hotter climate so it makes his muscles a lot easier to notice. His mane also make him appear a lot stockier than he really is. He is also a professional when it comes to combat because he's had to fight other males constantly while defending his pride.
   The Siberian tiger on the other hand is a larger cat but looks less stocky because of his size. His thick plush coat also hides the fact that he is an extremely powerful cat.
   They have both evolved to be the apex predators of their environments. They are simply the way they are in order to be able to do the things they do..
   How do you define firmer and more powerfully built anyway? It's not as though they are both contestants in a body-building competition.
