Please I need advice. I'm 22 years old male and I think I have sinus arrythmias . When I take a deep breath my heart increase beating rate and when I breath out it slows down. Usually I have about 70 heart beats in minute (in normal condition, when I'm sitting at the work for example). I'm practising bodybuilding for 2 years and I didn't have any difficulties. Please tell me should I go to doctor because of this?
- All young people's heart rhythms do that. It is normal. You can go to a doctor if you are worried.
- this is common in children and young adults. it has NO clinical significance except in elderly patients.
- This is caused by the vagus nerve. Vagal stimulation associated with respiration is a documented entity.
- Thats a normal sinus rythym.
But if your really worried about it, get it checked out. Heart disease is nothing to mess around with.
