Ways for exorcise(more in details)?

I'm a 17 yo male and I don't need to lose any weight..but I do want to become more athletic..espically build some leg muscle, and a little bit of upper body.. my question is what are some good ways to do this? Try and keep it inside since I live in pennsylvania and it is freezing outside.

  1. Thank you
  2. Exercise. The other means to cast out demons. Maybe your priest will join you for training.
  3. First, do simple push-ups and sit-ups (do the sit-ups with your tail bone lifted slightly above the ground) every other day (the day inbetween is needed to rebuild muscle you tear). Eat fruits before you do these for carbs. Also buy/eat protien supplements, nuts (for monounsaturated fats), and Omega-3 fish pills (help you digest the supplements and use them to help rebuild muscle) to eat after workouts…and remember eating a lot of protien+Omega3+monounsaturated fats can actually turn fat into muscle or create muscle from scratch.

Keep it up until you can do at least 50 push-ups and 100 sit-ups then buy some free weights for your home. Then do arm curls, helicopters, tricept (sp.?) extensions, and forearm curls along with the push-ups and sit-ups. Also for the leg workouts you can lunge up and down stairs even in your house with the weights (alternate between ducking and standing).

Once you can curl about 60 pounds you can be convinced you are a seriously commited athlete so reward yourself and get a membership at a gym and start working on back exercises along with the above exercises there (they have leg machines at the gym and running on treadmills at high incline settings or elliptical machines on high resistance also works very well).
The trick, besides pushing to the point you feel a slight burn in your muscle, is that proper diet makes about 70% of muscle building work because it's the food that's actually assembled into muscle.

In about 2 months in 10th grade I went from doing 20 to 50 push-ups then graduated to doing gym workouts (it's easy to overdo the machines if you don't have a sense of your ability from the push-ups). After about a year of the machines and good diet don't be too surprised if you can do 100+ pushups.

    Good luck man…
