Weight loss help?
ok im 21 year old male who is found a very strong intrest in bodybuilding and am in pretty good shape but I have like 8 inches around my waiste I want to lose I know that it will take lots
- of time im in no hurry to shed 20 pounds in a week but is there such thing as losing to much fat a week I need to know if I lose say 5 pounds a week will I have belly skin hanging down or will my body tighten it up I dont want streched out skin that wont form to my body
- Check out the Fat Smash/Extreme Fat Smash Diets books by Dr. Ian Smith of the Celebrity Fit Club show on VH1. In phase one which is Detox, I have lost 8 pounds in 9 days. I have lost 1 dress size and am now in phase 2 which includes lean meat added to the fruits and veggies of phase one. I am amazed because I bought pants 10 days ago that are already too big. I will continue, for sure. the books are available at Wal-mart.
- I use an all natural cleansing system that works on the cellular level. this has a side benefit of safe weight loss and promotes lean muscle mass

- if you lose weight healthy way which is 1-2lbs a week then you shouldn't have problem with saggy skin
find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and that's how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)
