Working out 7 days a week?

For the past 6 months I have gone to the gym at least 3x a week.

  1. For the past 5 weeks I have gone at least 4 times. I weight 320 pounds, I am male, 22 years old, 72 inches tall, body fat is 34%.
  2. I'm trying to lose weight too and it's sooo hard. My aunt is using a weight loss product and it's really working for her. I'm gonna try it and I recommend you try it too. Check their website at

  3. I am trying to build and tone and lost weight all simulatenously.
  4. take a day off every week. doesn't mean you have to fall off the deep end and spend the day at dairy queen, but have a cheat meal and recharge your batteries. doesn't mean you have to sit in front of the tv all day either.
  5. I keep each muscle group workout 3 days off of each other.
  6. Yes I am on a diet; no fast food, fried food, wings, ribs, burgers, pizza, etc. And I take in ~200 grams of protein a day.
  7. My question is should I take a day off, or just keep going since I am motivated? BTW I have heard from everyone "don't burn out", so any advice besides that would be appreciated. Thanks!!
  8. Yes I agree, you need an off day or so for your body to rest-your changing your metabolism also, to a great degree from what it was-good luck in your determination and your endeaver!
  9. Allow yourself at least one day per week to rest, and don't work the same muscle groups more than three times per week. You need to give your muscles adequate time to repair themselves after your workouts.
  10. Now, I have currently gone to the gym for the past 10 days, 4 days of 30 min weight training + 45 min of cardio on eliptical (at ~95 strides/min) and 6 days of just 45 min of cardio on eliptical (at ~95 strides/min).
