I am 16 yrs old and I am looking for a job part time just to earn alittle bit of money. I did babysitting for about 2 yrs but I am trying to get away from that. I love being around people so I think finding a job wouldn be that hard. I am just looking what is a good job for a teenage? I was thinking about applying to old navyy and bath and body works near my home where they just built a new shopping plaza is that bad of a job or should I try some thing different?

1. my adviced to you is to apply in all of those places because if you get into one you can tell the other people that you already have a job, and it will allow you to have a fallback if one doesn't go right.
2. to be honest, you are pretty much stuck in the service industry such as department stores and fast food. Those jobs are perfect for teens to learn responsibility and some skills. You may also try the local YMCA, mowing lawns, or bussing in a restaurant.
3. Great idea to work at bath and body. My friend currently works there and this is her first job. However, because she has transportation she got the job…so will transportation be an issue?
   Some good part-time jobs are receptionists, hostess, waitress, customer service like bath and body or another establishment. You will need a work permit because you are a minor.
4. You can look in a newspaper. I always look there. They have jobs for all ages (Almost all).
