Help me how to gain weight. I have always weighed 50kg even after having 2 kids.?
I have weighed 50 kg since my teens and I don't change even after having 2 kids. I am 32 years old now. I think I have inherited this smallness from one of my parents who is also small. I am really tired of being this small.
- I need real advice from professional or experienced people to assist. I have tried eating more but only my tummy grows bigger when I do that. Multivitamins have not helped me either. Exercises I am afraid to do much because as a woman, if my body builds up big muscles, people will laugh at me in my country. What food can I eat, or is there any medicine to help me?
- I'm not a professional but I know how you feel. I think its just that you have a naturally fast metabloism and thats just the way you are. If it really bothers you that much perhaps you could see your doctor who could probably advise you more. Maybe he can give you something similar to protein shakes but for your purpose of wanting to gain more weight. Im not sure but im sure your doctor could help.
- it's hard, since if you look healthy, you don't want to get fat by eating lots to gain, the best I can say is try building muscle, drink a protein shake after eating and wrok out a bit. But I reccomend you go to your doctor.
- A couple of points. First it is a myth that exercise will develop big muscles (on a woman). It will give tone, and good shape, but there are hormones involved ( the main one is testosterone), and in the lower levels in women it does NOT lead to big muscles. Even if it could, it wouldn't happen overnight, so you'd know when to lay off anyway.
Your size and metabolism are largely genetically dictated (assuming you lead a normal healthy life). For myself, I wonder why you want the change? I'll bet there's millions of women out there that would love to have your "problem".
I say, be happy with who you are. work on that, not the weight-gain issue.
