This ones more for women but guys can answer to if they want why do some women?
why do some women take up body building/ wieght lifting I been trainning with this women get on well with her helping her improve and all that . she far above the averge size for a women and bigger than most normal guys who dont work out she is not gay or some kind of feminist shes very on the level you know normal women in most respects but I just cant see why she dose it I was hoping maybe some one could help me here
- Some women, like to be strong. I have a good friend who took up weight lifting and joined competitions even… Oh, and they also think that they look real good with all those muscles.
- maybe she just want to be buff like some guys. maybe she was in a bad rlationship once when the man beat on her because she was small maybe she want to get buff so she can take on anyone that;s messing with her
- it probably makes her feel good about herself…able to whoop azz…healthy…admirable….
if you think she should 'fem it up' a bit…ask her out (even if just as friends)….maybe she's been with guys that arent 'man enough' before….and some 'man attention' might relax her enough and take her focus away from gettin so buff. =)
- Clue: maybe it's a hobby to her, or maybe you wants to defend herself from unwanted men.
After seeing this I think it is more of a hobby to her. It is not weird I mean there's quite a number of woman doing weightlifting. - More power to her… I guess she likes how she looks and works hard at it. I for one am girlygirly so I prefer looking and feeling like a girl. This is my choice and my opinion.
- Male hormones dominating in her
- Why do guys? Neither one is attractive (in my opinion) so it's not about that. It's body modification, standing out. Why do women get tattoos? Why do men wax things?
- Just like us, some women get "addicted" to it. I have girl friends who work out quite a bit. And for the most part they all just enjoy the endorphin rush, and the pump, just as much as men. But just like us, women have all sorts of reasons. Lifting is one of the few natural things that stimulates the health of bones.
There are a lot of things that would guide someone to bodybuilding male or female. So just enjoy training with her, and enjoy the view.
- Why not!
The more muscle a woman has, the less chance she has of getting osteoporosis when she is older. There are so many health benefits from lifting, and it is also empowering!
Good for her, I say! - I weight lift to build muscle so that I can lose fat. I don't do it to bulk up and look like some massive muscle woman. Besides, I don't know of any men who find women with huge muscles attractive.
- She probaly likes it.
- she just wants to have a healthy lifestyle and do something positive with her life. excercising actually makes us happy and after we exercise, we feel a sense of accomplishment at having done something good for our body.
