Women's body building- If I cut back to 12 grams of fat per day?

Will I lose weight faster?

  1. Well it depends. You didn't say how much you weigh, how old you are, how tall you are, your body fat %, etc. Are you really trying to lose weight or did you mean to say body fat? There's a big difference.

    As a general rule, 10% of your daily caloric intake should come from fats. Good fats–not trans fats.

    Go to bodybuilding.com and read up on fat loss in the forums.

  2. nope…decreasing dietary fats does not speed up fat loss. if your diet is too low in fats it will have a negative effect on fat loss as there will also be a decrease in test production. as the levels of circulating androgens decreases so will fat burning.

    you should be getting a minimum of 20% of the daily calories from fats
