Trying to build upper body muscle mass with full body workout incorporating resistance machine and dumbells. 1 hr, 3x wk, 8 reps, 3 sets, while reducing abdominal adipose with ellipitical cardio workout .5 hr, 2x wk, alternate days, 2 days off. Reducing mid section slowly, but muscle mass gain is miniscule. Muscle tone has improved and cardio pulse rate dropped from 78 to 58-60 BPM. Have followed regime religiously for over 23 months with few noticeable results otherwise I.e., mirror reflection. Eat balanced diet, take creatine, protein, and weight gain supplement. Wish to gain 5-10 lbs of muscle, still well within my BMI. Frustrated 5' 11" 155lb, 49 yr male. Ideas and input welcomed. Thanks!

Will I gain weight in muscle since I'm just trying to tone up or am I just gaining weight in fat? I'm not too concern with losing weight since I like to be bottom curvy, but I do alot of cardio to keep healthy. Should I keep going and adding more weights to be more bottom curvy? okay I'm 6 foot 2 male and used to way 88 kilograms (194 pounds). over the past 2 years ive gotten down to 70kg which is my lowest. however I didnt build muscle or exercise I just stoped eating junk and the pound flew off. At my skiniest I had my ribs and collar bone potruding at my sternum. im 76kg and I can still see my ribs (theyve gotten better) and I have gained strength and my muscles on my arms have started to show especially the triceps (push ups) and my deltoids. at the begining of this week ive gotten a barbell with 2 10kilograms on each side. I wanna gain muscles but not gain a beer gut. so how much cardio can I do without having by rib bones protrude and all the muscle I have build get eaten up by my body.
