Difference between an elastic jumper and a strength jumper, how do you know which one you are?

An elastic jumper is an athlete who can jump high and doesn't have to hit the weights for strength in his legs. He's that real skinny looking guy who can dunk or jump high with ease. Strength jumpers are the type who have do the squats, calve raises, etc. they have to build strength in order to get up. Plus when they jump or run it looks like they're stomping hard when they run or jump. Perfect Example: Dominique Wilkins an elastic jumper. Karl Malone and Shaquille O' Neal strength jumpers. How can you tell if your body is made natural to jump high and run fast without strength training. If you're an elastic jumper, stretching for flexibility and speed training is the key. What do you see improvements more in flexiblity progress and speed training or strength training?

If I use my eliptical machine will my legs become fat and muscular? & is it possible to loose weight using it

Hi. I recently got an elliptical machine, haven't used it much yet and was wondering if my legs [calves and thighs] are going to become huge after using regularly. Because when I do use it, the only part of my body that aches are my legs, particularly just above my knees.
