I have read that whey protein is "high quality" and that's what you need to have in order to build muscle effectively. Is there any way to get enough from eating regular foods without taking protein supplements? And if so, how much protein should I be looking at a day? Once site said that number or grams of protein per day should be no less than your body weight?

I am 16, 6'0 145 lbs, I eat healthy like no other (As much protien and vegetables and fruit as my body can take) I am starting Varsity Point Gaurd for my school and I am the weakest one on my team, I worked out all summer long with a Personal Trainer to be (he still in college . . . but he knows what to do) and I am looking for supplements that will help me build muscles, maybe for when the season ends, but ive tried creatine, NOXplode, Myoplex Protien Shakes, I am in good shape, im toned, but I want to get stronger and tips?
