Are NO supplements for bodybuilding safe?

I am currently taking Whey protein and creatine supplements, and I have been finding some creatine with NO (actually it's Arg, which is converted to NO in the body). I understand the basis, but I was wondering if this is safe. If the Arg is actually converted to NO as they say, this would lower BP by systemic vasodilation setting into effect baroreceptor reflex and so forth. I was just wondering if there were any reports of adverse effects, safety profiles, or effectiveness.

  1. Herbalife has a product called nite works which is used by players on the AVP "Association of Volleyball Professionals". It is a great cario product. Check out Link for more info.
  2. I would just stick to Whey if I was you. I've heard that if you're not carefull the creatine could damage your liver. If you are going to use it make sure you drink PLENTY of water!
