Bodybuilding supplements? Protein for stronger, bigger muscle? Safe supplements?

I have been trying to build a good body for the last several months. I’m a tall Scottish lad, got quite a slim build but I am pretty healthy when it comes to eating.

  1. I want to build a lot more muscle to make me stronger and give me a better appearance. I do cardio by running across a field twice a week and hard weight training another 2 days a week.
  2. Best thing to do- Talk to your doctor.

If you really want to get big, you need to devote more than 2 days a week lifting. I am seeing some results after about 6 weeks @ 5 days a week. I am taking Creatine and consuming about 88g of protien a day (88kg is what I weigh). Its all about educating yourself on the subject. I went to Bodybuilding .Com to educate myself.

  3. You should get whey protein shake and creatine those r the two best things to take plus they safe and maybe a multivitamin as well
  4. Cheers.
  5. I review suppelements on my website and tlak about effective, what side effects, cost, and how well they worked. Please check it out at www.bestsupplementreview.com, it I jsut for fun so if you have any feedback please leave it and also if you would like for me to try and review a certain supplement please leave the name and company. thank you
  6. Basically I want to know what good, effective and SAFE supplements are out there for a lad like me? I’m still a young lad and I don’t want anything that could be unsafe and could harm me in any way. I heard some supplements affect the brain and that’s a big no-no.
  7. www.bodybuilding.com
  8. Please could you suggest safe supplements to my diet that will help with muscle gain but not have any unsafe effects.
  9. Drink alot of water. Water is the best supplement. One of the most safest things to take is whey protein. Protein is needed for people who work out alot. However, its true what that other person answered, you should work out more than 2 days a week. Atleast make it 3 days a week to become more consistent. Its hard to define what is safe and what is not safe. In reality, anything taken in excess can cause harm. Even if you take too much vitamin C then that could cause problems as well. It's all about taking things in the correct value their supposed to be taken. If you read supplement product labels they will state the directions and warnings for the product which should be followed.
  10. I read on wikipedia that protein supplements have no effect adding bulk to muscle but I find this hard to believe.
