I have somethin' to ask about body building.?
I am somewhat skinny. I am 16 years old 5'8.5" and I weigh 60 kg. I want to build up my body and I want to look better. Can you please help me. Is it the right time to start body training. also tell me about weight gain, food supplements too. Thanx a lot.
- I am a strict vegitarian so I cann't consume non veg.
- I was in the same situation 16 years ago..!!!!
1) AVOID/DO NOT EAT anything fried…!!! Especially
from fast food restaurants.
2) EAT simple foods like chicken(NOT FRIED),tuna,
vegetables,friuts..etc….
3) Drink protein powder with water or milk.
4) Pick 4 excercises and do them 1 day.
Pick 4 other excercise and do them the 2nd day.
REST on the 3rd day…!!!!!!!
Repeat with the same or different excercises
on day 4 and 5…..
REST 6th day…..and the 7th…!!!!!
5) Have patience….!!!! You are still growing. The idea
is NOT to be fat when you are 30yrs old. Being skinny
now will help that in the future…!!!!!
GOOD LUCK…!!!!! - Lift weights, drink weight gainer, drink protein. (Creatine is probably too much for someone so young. You still have lots of growing to do!)
For the weights thing, see if you have a trainer or someone like that at your local gym. It is best to get supervision so you don't hurt yourself. Lifting too much weight or lifting improperly can actually stunt your growth.
- get alot of books on the subject.I have been building for 3 years now and I can tell you that the best way to do it is by lifting weight.I started out in the same position as you as have most builders including arnold himself.so dont stress okay.what I did was start working out four or five days a week depending on if I missed something in a workout or not.a rough program for you to follow is this.biceps,do 5 sets of curls.try to keep the reps in the following guidlines,15,10,8,6,5.then do preacher curls following the same pattern.follow with 3 sets of concentration curls doing 8,8,8.triceps do close grip bench 15,8,5,5,2 then lying triceps extensions doing 5,4,3,3,1 then cable pressdowns doing 8,8,8(for some reason lower reps seem to work better on the triceps for me than the biceps so I keep triceps training lower).shoulder do side laterals 15,10,8,8,6 then bent over laterals 8,8,8 and then do military presses 15,10,5,3,2.for back do 50 pullups in as few sets as possible followed by bent over rows doing 10,8,5,3,1 and then do seates cable rows of 8,8,8.for chest do bench 15,10,8,8,6 and then do incline following the same pattern and then do flys in sets of 8,8,8.legs do 8 sets of squats doing 15,8,8,8,4,4,4,1 then do leg extensions 8,8,8 and leg curls 8,8,8.for abs do 50 situps then 50 flat leg sit ups and then do 50 crunches followed by 50 toe touches.this is a loose program that you will have to individualize but always keep resting in between sets down to a minute or less.always take a day off per body part and once you do this for long enough you can start doing this three days a week per body part instead of two.right this down by the way.another good thing is that as a light guy you should eat and eat and eat so have fun lift weights and get big.

- 10 push ups
10 sit ups
9 push ups
9 sit ups
and so on and so on…
its been my workout for years and the ladies love it.
and as far as food … eat lts of protein.and you can eat carbs just rember not to engorge.and workout if you feel tired or dragged down
