Protein supplement?

Hi Guys,

  1. I go to gym daily and my one of my friend told me there that I can go for protein supplements he told me that if I would take those I would be able to build up muscles in my body quickly..

    Just taking protein supplements are not at all harmful.
    types of protein supplements
    1> egg protein (collected from egg)
    2> Whey protein (its made up from milk extracts)

    if you really want to get good muscle you need to take more protein intake. that's why its preferable to take protein powders.
    its all useful to us.

    cons:
    1> they are very expensive
    2> you might get duplicate product.

  3. Some are good, it will have no effect on your sex life , but you may be wasting your money if the product is not real good.
  4. my friend if you like than I want to give you advice that there is no comparison of natural source of protein to the protein suplyment tablet or powder.

  7. There are number of protein supplements you can get from General Nutrition Centre.Log on to GNC.com and find out one good for you.I do not eat my lunch but I drink protein supplement in fruit juice every day.
  8. I am not able to make up mind… coz I think that might have a bad effect on my sexual life… need advice on that.
  9. Firstly, Your protien intake will not affect your sexual life in any way.

    However, I personally dislike protein shakes simply because they are not providing you with natural proteins.

    The best protein available is egg protein. Eat two boiled egg whites a day.(Avoid egg yolk as it is full of cholesterol)Egg proteins are easy to digest,natural,cheap and entirely absorbed.

    Milk,Meat and pulses should also prove to be of much help.
    And do remember that excess protein does not offer any benefit as excess proteins are used to make fats.

    So my advice is …Eat natural proteins and not protein shakes!
