Does any one have any tips for building biceps and triceps!?
right now am only using dumbbells and doing 3 sets of Hammer Curl and 3 of Cross Body Hammer Curl and 3 of Bicep Curl! am I going on the right direction with these sets! or do I need to do more! and tips would really help! ohh and am using 25 lb dumbbells!
- You're starting out with some great exercises! But you need to challenge your body…increase the weight/reps/sets. For endurance, stick to lighter weights and more reps. For muscle building stick to heavier weights and few reps. The bicep is essentially 2 muscles in one (hence, "bi" meaning "two") and the triceps has 3 muscles in one. For biceps, I suggest wide bicep curls to hit the inner part of the bicep, or a narrow grip barbell curl to target the outer part. That'll really give you some definition! To really define the triceps, try triceps extensions (lying down or overhead) to feel the burn or rope push downs (using the cable pulleys) and flare your wrists at the bottom of the movement.
