I'm 13 years old, but looking at my body you would probably think that I was 14 or 15. I'm definitely not fat, but I have muscular legs. That's why I'm more than a little worried about whether I'm going to start developing cellulite in the near future. My mom has it pretty bad, and for my own sake I never want to look like that. My dad isn't built like that, but everyone knows men never get cellulite.
- Does anyone know how I can look at my family and determine whether I will become "afflicted with the bumps" or not?

- And since I suspect that I will, please can you give me tips on products or workouts and such that will minimize it? I already have a Bliss stimulator, and so far it doesn't really seem to be doing much…..are there any great products that have worked for you?

- Get on a balanced diet now, and start exercising regularly. Other than that, there isn't 2 much you can do about it except plastic surgery.

- Put down the donuts!!
- Don't drink soda pop–including diet soda–ever!! And stop eating animal fats. Eat lots of veggies and fresh fruits. Eat whole grain products, not white bread, etc. And leave off most dressings–mayo, butter, salad dressing. Eats LOTS of good-for-you food, though. You're still building bones and growing!
Exercise as much when you are older as you do when you are younger. Walking and swimming are great.
You can't guarantee that your body shape will be different than that of your ancestors, but you can feed your body well and keep it in good (muscular) shape.
I decided to do that when I was 17 and I'm considerably older than that now, and still in great health and look great! Smart girl to think of it early.
