I need some tips on losing weight and building muscle?
the current things that I do are eat special k cereal in the morning which is like 7 am cause of school. then my next meal is at 4 pm after school and I have a good meal that has a lot of protein. my workouts are run 3-6 miles a day and work on my muscles on my whole body basically. I need some tips on how to be better because im not happy with these results.
- also im about 5'6 and I weight 135 pounds and im 16.

- Just hammer away on calories, Special K man? are you serious, start mixing in some eggs(maybe just the whites if you are worried about the fat) but in all honesty I would eat anything that is not nailed down, don't get caught up in too much of the nonsense that you'll die if you eat high calorie foods or anything. Almost all of the negative affects of eating high calorie foods can be negated with the amount of activity that you are up to. Peanut butter and honey on whole wheat is the staple of any weight gain program that I go on, so if you are concerned about still eating really healthy there are plenty of higher calorie "healthy foods". But still have some fun with it eat, eat, eat. Calories in excess of what you burn, plenty of protein like 1g per pound of bodyweight or more and resistance exercise are the formula to gaining muscle.
