What is a good aid to help build muscle? Or any basic workout tips I can do.?
I'm 19, about 6'3 and weigh 160. I want to get a little muscle, not like body builder status. Does anyone know of any really good aids to help you build muscle or etc…
- The only real answer is WORK. I bought a book by Arnold Schwarzenegger that helped me a lot, and answered a ton of questions- had some good pictures too. If there were a 'magic trick' most men would go around looking like HE does!
- First you need to workout…..ALOT. Work out at least 4 days a week, and be consistant. Get yourself a work-out plan, and make sure you hit every muscle group at least once a week (back, shoulders, abs, biceps, triceps, chest, and legs)
Second, you need to eat. To build muscle, you have to have protein. Protein is the building blocks of muscle cells. The rule is to eat twice as many grams of protein per day as your weight. (In your case, that would be 320 grams of protein per day) That's gonna be really hard to do, so just do your best. Buy a protein supplement to help out with that. You'll get bigger by eating less more often. Try to eat 2 large meals per day, and 4 small ones. If you do all of this consistantly, you will gain muscle.
