What is a good resource for strength and definition building workouts?

I am trying to get into better shape and have fought with being overweight my whole life. I would like to know of websites that can show what work-outs you can do with free weights and a weight bench to do two things. 1. Get more strength. 2. Define myself more. I have a treadmill, but often I find that I dont tire from the actual running, I tire from my back hurting while I run. I want to lose weight, but I also want to be stronger and more defined. Someone told me that focusing on trying to make your body do more rather than look better is a mentally easier way of working out. Any tips, suggestions, or easy to use websites that show how to work out, what to do, how much and on what days? Basically a work out plan. I have 1. A bench with up to 300 pounds. 2. Free weights up to 50 a piece and 3. A treadmill.

  1. look up arnold routines, youtube videos can teach excersices.
  2. Buy this book it helped me and I know it will help you too."The New Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding"
